Jonzel Hernandez

Jonzel Hernandez is a Los Angeles-based actor and performer. Starting his career in 2014 as a background performer, he has since built his repertoire as an actor in film and television as well as the theatre arts.
As a film actor, he starred in multiple student and short films, ranging in genres from comedy to drama. As a theatre actor, Jonzel has starred in a number of both original and well known works as a veteran member of the Los Angeles Mission College Theater Company. His very first role with company was in 2016 as a supporting role in an original work called "Wildwood." In 2018, he finished his final work with the company as the lead in their rendition of the hit musical "Cabaret." In 2020, he co-starred as Caleb in the StrayDogg Stage Production of "Very Important Problems."
Prior to his professional training, Jonzel has been praised for his natural and strong stage presence, subtleties in both his voice and facial expressions, and a gift for fully immersing himself in the role. He has trained with multiple professionals in the business including Robert Cucuzza, John Patrick Walker and Mark Lewis.
