Steve's interest in the film industry came at an early age. He would spend summers in Burbank, Ca. with Great Aunt Alta Dubois- Stannard, costume designer for Edith Head and cousin Gladys Dubois, actress and singer (Magic in the Moonlight (2014), You Call It Madness (But I Call It Love) (as Dubois) Nat King Cole And His Trio* - Harvest Of Hits. Gladys Dubois was married to Robert Armstrong - (Supporting actor King Kong). The Stanard/Stannard family have had major presence in the film industry since the early days of cinema. When looking through IMDB lists of persons, you will find this families name in many above the line positions.
