Can/will ESPN explore its option to move up the release date of “The Last Dance,” its upcoming 10-part docuseries about the Chicago Bulls?
As sports media figures out its next move in a world where all sports have been paused by the coronavirus pandemic, one option for ESPN is to hurry its release of the series that explores NBA superstar Michael Jordan’s final season with the Bulls in their 1998 championship-winning season.
“The Last Dance” was originally supposed to begin airing on June 2, just before the NBA Finals were scheduled to start. But after Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell of the Utah Jazz tested positive for Covid-19 this past week (as did Detroit Pistons forward Christian Wood), the NBA announced it would suspend all play for at least the next 30 days in an effort to contain the virus. The rest of the sports world quickly followed suit as the NHL,...

The cast and crew of “The Banker” are rising to the defense of the film after Apple delayed its release. The technology giant had originally planned to debut “The Banker” in the height of awards season, giving it a prime release date as it moves more aggressively into the content space. However, things changed after Cynthia Garrett, the daughter of the film’s protagonist, Bernard Garrett, accused Bernard Garrett, Jr., one of the film’s producers and her half-brother, of sexual abuse.
In a statement, the film’s director, writer, and producer George Nolfi, as well as cast members such as Anthony Mackie, Samuel L. Jackson, Nicholas Hoult, Nia Long, and other key talent say they stand by the film and “its positive message of empowerment.” While expressing sympathy for Cynthia Garrett, they note that the film is not based on the memories of Garrett’s children, but on interviews with Garrett himself,...

Surprise! Emily Ratajkowski’s textured bob — which provided the night’s biggest hair switch-up — is only temporary. The shoulder-grazing style, created by the model’s hairstylist Christian Wood, is actually faux. However the model did allowed her trusted pro to cut the top layer of her hair, and the next time you see Ratajkowski, expect to be gawking at a newly layered cut.
“Emily was really brave and she let me cut the front of her hair to make it look more real,” Wood tells PeopleStyle.

Bryce Dallas Howard looked like a million bucks at the 22nd Critics' Choice Awards. But looks can be deceiving, as the 35-year-old Black Mirror actress modeled a mustard Topshop dress that only set her back $240. "It's great. It's comfortable," Howard told Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet. "It's flowy, which is good for this time of year—the holiday season." Howard purchased her dress at Nordstrom, and she accessorized with Irene Neuwirth Jewelry. Howard was on hand to give the Best Supporting Actor award to Moonlight's Mahershala Ali. Christian Wood styled the actress' ponytail, and Kara Yoshimoto Bua took care of her makeup. Sunday wasn't the first...

The show-stopping mustard maxi dress features a V-neck line, black beading and a flowing, goddess-like silhouette. The coolest part? It’s currently available at Nordstrom.
