Born on May 29th, 1995, in the vibrant city of Baltimore, Maryland, I entered a world filled with limitless possibilities. My parents, Renee Lewis (nee Spencer) and Livingston Lewis, instilled in me a strong work ethic and encouraged me to dream big. With an African American medical professional as my mother and a Jamaican-born auto mechanic as my father, I inherited a diverse blend of cultures that shaped my identity and fueled my ambition.
My journey in education began at Chesapeake High School, the first STEM school in the Nation. Here, I honed my skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics while developing a love for learning. Graduating with a high school diploma, I was equipped with a solid foundation for the next step in my educational pursuit.
Driven by a thirst for knowledge, I enrolled at Towson University in Towson, Maryland, where I pursued my bachelor's degree. I went on to pursue a Masters degree from Regent University in Virginia Beach Va.
In addition to my academic pursuits, I ventured into the world of acting. Inspired by a desire to explore my creative side, I attended The Barrows Group acting school in New York City and later joined the Speiser Sturges Acting Studio in Los Angeles. Through rigorous training and countless auditions, I immersed myself in the art of storytelling, discovering my own voice and the power of expression.
Committed to making a difference, I also embarked on a fulfilling career as a Baltimore City Public School teacher. Guided by my passion for education and a belief in the potential of every student, I endeavored to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. Each day, I dedicated myself to empowering young minds and helping them unlock their own greatness. As I continue to evolve and grow, I look forward to further exploring the intersections of education and artistry. With each step, I strive to inspire others to chase their dreams relentlessly, irrespective of their circumstances. My journey is far from over, and I am excited to see where my passion and dedication will lead me next.
