Cash Carraway is an award-winning writer and director. She is the creator, writer and executive producer of the TV series Rain Dogs (BBC/Sid Gentle Films) broadcast in 2023.
Her stage plays include: The Last Peepshow in Soho (Soho Theatre), The French Inhaler (Clean Break), and the multi-award winning Refuge Woman (Battersea Arts Centre) which completed a sold-out 20-date UK tour and is the only ever theatrical production to be nominated for a British Journalism Award.
Cash recently wrote and directed the short film L'Opera del Lavoratore (BBC/Hopscotch Films). She is the author of the bestselling book Skint Estate, published by Penguin Random House. The Times called her "The new voice of a generation".
