Sazane Kei

Kei Sazane is a male Japanese light novel author. He made his debut with the 18th Fantasia Taisho Grand Prize "Honorable Mention" for "Tasogareiro no Uta Tsukai" Volume 1: Evhe Smiles at Dawn. He has also served as a selection committee member since the 33rd Fantasia Taisho.
He has been fond of novels, manga, and video games since he was a child and has said that he especially liked mystery novels. At the end of his fifth year of elementary school, he encountered the light novel "Fortune Quest" by Fukasawa Mishio, and in his sixth year of elementary school, he encountered the light novel "Slayers" by Kamisaka Hajime.
He began writing novels by hand and with the reader in mind in his first year of college and continued writing at the end of his second year of college on his laptop computer, using Ichitaro 16 and other software. He cites Yoshinobu Akita as a writer he admires. In his fourth year as an author, he started drawing illustrations on Pixiv and other sites to help illustrators convey his image.
