Aaron Singer(I)
- Visual Effects
Art and animation is in Aaron's blood. His grandfather, Floyd Singer,
after serving in World War II, worked as an artist for Walt Disney
Studios, working on the original "Fantasia" and "Song of the South."
Although a gifted artist since childhood, he didn't immediately pursue
his artist's passion instead worked as a temp worker and was in retail
banking. However, the calling was irresistible and he sold nearly
everything he had while in his late 20's to pay for his tuition to go
back to art school enrolling at The Art Institute of California - Los
Angeles and graduating in 1999.
Since then, because if his hard work ethic, dedication and ability to meet strenuous deadlines, he's worked on many projects; he was a digital compositor on Transformers (2007), The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006) and Pan's Labyrinth (2006). He later became the Compositing Supervisor on the TV series, Sid the Science Kid, for forty episodes (2008-2009). In 2009, his name was credited as the compositor for the movie Avatar. His other works includes various TV series; Hawaii Five-0 (3 episodes in 2011), Terra Nova (11 episodes in 2011), Grim (2012) and most recently, Perception (2 episodes in 2012).
