A Cairo-based assistant director, script supervisor, casting director and founder of Asminah platform, working on his directorial debut which he also wrote. His portfolio boasts a variety of works in the fields of cinema, drama, and broadcasting.
Omar's career kicked off in the fall of 2011 at CBC channel, where he worked as an assistant director on many reputable shows. Meanwhile, he studied directing at the Academy of Arts & Technology (Studio Galal) in 2013. After 4 years in the industry of broadcasting, Omar moved to cinema and drama in 2015.
Omar served as an assistant director, script supervisor and casting director on many major Egyptian films and series. In 2020, he worked as a script supervisor in the first Egyptian Netflix Original production "Paranormal". Later in 2023, he served as a script supervisor and casting director for Karim El-Shenawy's Ramadan series "Seventh year itch".
