Maria Molins

María Molins (Barcelona; February 14, 1979) is a Spanish film, theater and television actress. She has obtained two nominations at the Gaudí Awards and winning the award for best leading actress in 2013 for her participation in the film El Bosque.
She began her career in the theater where she has developed most of her career. Also in his beginnings he had small roles in sporadic episodes in Catalan series such as Tocao Del Ala and Homenots. In 2001 he joined the Catalan TV series El Cor De La Ciutat, where he played Isabeleta until the end of the series. As for cinema, she has participated in productions such as Todo Está En El Aire, Cobardes and A La Deriva.
In 2011 he starred in the TV3 TV movie 14 de Abril. Macià Contra Companys. In addition, he also appears in an episode of the Spanish TV series Cuéntame Cómo Pasó.
After entering the Faculty of Fine Arts, she began her career as a dancer at the Theatre Institute of Barcelona leaving it in the 4th year to devote herself fully to what would be her vocation; to be an actress. She graduated in Dramatic Art at the same Theater Institute.
In 2012 she was part of the cast of the Antena 3 miniseries Historias Robadas about the case of a stolen baby and the search for his biological family. She also participates in the TV movie Olor de Colònia and in the TV3 series Kubala, Moreno y Manchón. In addition, she stars in the film El Bosque with Álex Brendemühl, for which she received the Gaudí Award for best female lead in 2013.
In 2014 she joined the TV3 afternoon series La Riera, where she plays Àgata. She also participates in the film Seve, the movie, a biopic where she plays Carmen, Severiano Ballesteros' mother.
Since 2015 she has been part of the recurring cast of the Telecinco series La Que Se Avecina where she plays Sandra, Enrique Pastor's press officer.
In 2016 she is part of the cast of the first season of the antena 3 series La Embajada. In addition, she premieres the Argentine-Spanish thriller Cien Años De Perdón. She also stars in the short film Ciudadanos by Marc Nadal.
In 2018 she has an important role in Julio Medem's drama El Árbol De La Sangre.
In September 2019 she joined the fourth season of the series Servir Y Proteger, where she plays one of the main characters, Verónica Figueras.
In 2023 she releases La Niña De La Comunión, a horror film.
