Trish Dempsey was a "baby-boomer" born in Washington, D.C. She began
her career acting in plays in elementary school and continued being
involved in the theatre part time while raising her two children. She
began the serious study of acting in 1991 under the tutelage of Prof.
Bruce Gill of Pasadena College, California. After performing in
numerous comedic productions including the world premiere stage
production of "Miracle on 34th Street", she decided to expand her
horizons to film and television. Trish considers herself to be a
character actor and enjoys the challenge of thinking outside of the
box. She loves playing the villainess in the numerous horror
productions she is cast in such as Phobias( 2003), Dark Woods (2002),
Realms of Blood, The Woods Are Alive, and most recently Herschell
Gordon Lewis' latest film "The Uh-Oh Show". She loves comedy and she
adores playing wacky characters such as "Grandma" in
Secret Santa (2002) and "The
Neighbor" in _Bollywood and Vine (2003) (V)_ . However, Trish aspires
to be known as the first serious actress known for her ability to play
a believable and memorable villainess.
