Jay Mack Arnette II has been working professionally in the entertainment industry since 2001. His interest in this industry sparked way before that though. After hearing a kid talking about being an extra in a movie over the summer in 5th grade, being able to work on movies became more realistic to him. Much later he was able to take a television class in high school. He was able to learn the basics of shooting and editing in that class, and then sharpened his story telling abilities by taking film classes in college. Shortly after 9/11 the opportunity to work on a film presented itself to him in Hawaii. He moved up from an extra to a PA to working with the grips within a week. He worked as a local in Hawaii for 8 months, and then moved to Los Angeles. After moving to Los Angeles Jay Mack has had a very successful career. He has worked on several Emmy winning shows, and has been nominated for a few himself.
