Oliver is a descendant of George Bernard Shaw, who wrote the quintessentially English play Pygmalion, which was brought to the screen by Audrey Hepburn in 'My Fair Lady'. His brother is Alexander Shaw (known for 'Napoleon' and 'The King's Man').
Oliver began his acting career aged 11, when he was supported by Robert Sterne, (Casting Director - Game of Thrones/ The Crown) and Kate Bone CD, for his first film role in the British period thriller, 'The Critic'. Oliver plays Rowan Wiley in the Patrick Marber scripted thriller, directed by Anand Tucker and produced by Jolyon Symonds. Oliver appears in scenes alongside Sir Ian McKellen, Gemma Arterton, Mark Strong, Romola Garai, Sir Ian McKellen, Ben Barnes and Alfred Enoch. Oliver will next appear in Alfonso Cuarón's Apple Series 'Disclaimer', starring Cate Blanchett and Kevin Kline.
