RAMÓN MEDINA, Mexican actor and director. He studied acting at Studio M&M with teachers like Arturo Ripstein, Patricia Reyes Spíndola and Luis Felipe Tovar.
He has been working in more than 20 full-length films, can be seen him starring a comedy or a thriller or a horror movie. In the chick flick Cena para Tres, directed by Juan Carlos Blanco and produced by Arturo Tay he played his first leading role, since that moment they three consolidated a creative work team and to date they have made 6 full-length films.
Ramón has become a reference in the film and television industries, he works often in television series inside his country and in foreign projects, among which stand: Fear the Walking Dead (AMC), The Inmate (Telemundo/Netflix) and Monarca (Netflix/Salma Hayek).
As a filmmaker he got the recognition as Best Director in La Neta Rally Festival (2010) for his short film El Sastre, starring by Mario Almada. In 2012 he got the Best Director and Best Short Film Awards in the Short Shorts Toluca for El Ocaso de las Ánimas. He has been directed video clips also with recognized artists like: Luis Enrique, Reyli Barba and Ana Victoria.
During 2020 we will appreciate his histrionic talent in some of the film projects he has recently participated in: Sin Origen, El Diario de Karem, Masacre en Teques, Desde el más Allá and Emboscada.
