Lisa Mason Lee was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. Lee is an accomplished actor, director and filmmaker.
Lee got her start in front of the camera hosting the Middle School Morning Announcements, to hosting local TV shows in Indianapolis. With a growing love for arts and entertainment, she got into making indie films with her friends.
After Art School, Lee went to Los Angeles to continue pursuing the entertainment world.
In L.A., Lee began hosting/reporting for TMZ, Hollyscoop and other independent media outlets. She landed her own "blog spot" that covered the Hollywood scene from an inside perspective, detailing what happened in the club to what was said out at red carpet events. Lee simultaneously pursued the film business and just barely got her feet wet in L.A., winning the audition to play the Keyboardist in Alvin and the Chipmunks. Lee briefly detoured to Las Vegas to dance with Caesars Entertainment, then ventured back home to Indianapolis to work as the Entertainment Reporter for CBS affiliate WISH-TV. Finally, you guessed it, Lee went back to L.A. to continue making films and also host/report for Maria Menounos' "AfterBuzz TV" entertainment network.
Lee has interviewed and worked with an array of brilliant actors, entertainers, filmmakers, musicians, community leaders, business owners and everyday people. Her favorite celebrity interviews are with Buzz Aldrin, Ed Sheeran, Tim Meadows, Tony Kanaan and Paris Hilton.
With immense inspiration and working alongside visionary filmmakers like David Lynch, Lee made a directorial debut of her Comedy-Horror film "Angry Baker," which premiered on Amazon Prime. Angry Baker garnered some laurels and became an Official Selection of The Covellite International Film Festival and a Semi-Finalist in both Hollywood Horrorfest and the Women In Horror Film Festival.
You can see Lee performing with Burlesque Icon Dita Von Teese, acting in upcoming projects like Abe Sylvia's "Palm Royale," or indie films "Transient" and "Pieces We Leave Behind."
