Ben Schaffer(III)

Ben Schaffer is an American enthusiast of tuner and electric cars. In 2000 he founded Bulletproof Automotive with the goal of making custom and aftermarket parts easier to access as well as sharing his knowledge about customizing cars and JDM culture. In his early years, he created "The Real JDM" segment for Modified Magazine, in which he described the latest trends and technological innovations in Japan. His brand teamed up with many car tuning heavyweights such as: Top Secret, VeilSide, C-West, JUN, HKS, GReddy, Sparco, Liberty Walk, Rocket Bunny etc... In 2013 he co-founded Unplugged Performance to popularize the electric car industry and initiate Tesla cars customizing and upgrading. Later they founded TeslaCorsa event series to bring the owners on massive raceday. In 2021, their driver Randy Pobst won at Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. Their latest project was a law enforcement and military package for Tesla Cybertruck. Both as Bulletproof Automotive and Unplugged Performance, Ben put a variety of cars at Tokyo Auto Salon on showcase.
