Lynne Jacobellis was born in Hollywood, CA and grew up in Agoura Hills,
CA. Her parents, Tom and Catherine Jacobellis, supported her throughout
her life while she attended college at California State University, Los
Angeles and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in
Theatre Arts and Dance. Jacobellis was first discovered when she was
invited to be an extra on "Unsolved Mysteries" at age seven. While
working, she and her Mother were pulled aside by the director and
producer and told that the lead was no longer going to be participating
in the episode. They asked if Jacobellis was interested. An
enthusiastic "Yes" lead to her first role on television. After
finishing high school, Jacobellis found herself directing music videos
and award-winning short films, such as Barefoot (2008) and being cast
in her first feature film lead role in The Horror Within (2005). She
directed and co-starred in Nora Hammond and the Magical Toothbrush
(2010) as part of the 48 Hour Film Festival. Her dancing and acting
skills came into play when she landed the job as the Cheer Coordinator
and on the following day, as a Special Ability "Cheerio" on Glee
(Season 3).
