When he's not pursuing acting roles he expresses his creative passions in painting epitomized by his recent solo exhibition in Oaxaca , Mexico.
PAST "The Beachcomber's" 1977 "Hollywood North was still in its infancy and I still remember the itchy wool band uniforms as we sat endlessly for seaplanes to pass so we could do a clean take haha." "I didn't return to TV and film until 2012 when I played a Zombie on the Hub Networks scary series "spooksville" . That scene ended winning a Leo Award . I went onto playing the main character "Watch's" geeky dad in a classroom scene."
"Playing an American tourist in "Monstruo de Xilbaba " was a great opportunity. We filmed that in Mexico's Yucatan. Watch for my soon to be famous line "fuhgetabout it sonny ..." lol "It was great attending the Los Cabos international film festival as an official delegate and presenting the director with a painting I rendered of my scene with "Rogelio" the main character. It was fun interviewing with the Paparazzi on the red carpet about my role. (video clip in links) "
CURRENT
"in the last month I've wrapped a few fun and intriguing roles . I played paranormal researcher "Harry Quartermass" in British filmmaker Chris Sanders' "Highgate Vampyre" and a radio announcer in Hungarian Director József Gallai's next feature film "The Black-eyed Children" . The most recent role I wrapped was as "Roy" in the next feature film of Phil Herman's Jacker trilogy "Jacker 3: Road to Hell". Although I get killed off fast in that role, I loved the script and logistical challenges especially since I'm a man of the woods so I loved the character . I was tickled pink that Phil chose to use part of the footage of my role for a recent teaser trailer , be careful watching it."
FUTURE:
"I'm really looking forward to my next role as washed up bare knuckles ex boxer "Knuckles" in "Daedalus Melon in Rebel Bikers vs Vampires from Venus" , as a member of the "grinning rebels" motorcycle club. This comedic horror movie is filmmaker Warren Dean Fulton's first feature film. We'll be filming that in various locations around Vancouver in late May. Among other upcoming projects I'm looking forward to is my role as "Bill" in Kevin Duffy's "The Farmhouse Murders" with a star studded cast. Fun fact : Director Kevin Duffy's viewing of my performance in the teaser trailer for "Jacker 3" led him to up my challenges for my role of "Bill". I'm also going to be playing the role of "Larry Finckle" in Chris Sanders' next crime feature "Clean right Hook " and I have a part in controversial director Shayne Ryan-Reid's next film "American Mother" about a popular influencer and her on-screen working partner charged with heinous crimes."
