In "Lessons in Chemistry," when there are close-ups of Elizabeth Zott's hands while preparing food, those belong to Food Consultant and chef Courtney McBroom. She also prepared all of the food that Elizabeth makes in the series. Brie Larson had been friends with Courtney for years and asked if she'd be interested in being involved in the production.
