April Szykeruk

April Szykeruk grew up in Rockville Connecticut. She started acting at a very young age. From the age of five she was always participating in plays at school and summer camp. She was part of Rockville High's Drama Club. She attended MCTC CT where she performed as Williams in, "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest". She then moved to attend AMDA in NYC with Shakesperean training as well as stage combat. She's been in off-off Broadway shows as well as appearing in film and T.V. She completed a course at UCB as well as taking classes at; MN acting studios as well as taking voice over, accent classes, and acting in Horror Films classes at Actors Connection. She believes to keep trying to become a better actor one should keep educating one's self and that there is always more to learn. She likes to create and improvise comedic characters and has performed open mic nights at a few spots. She writes; scripts, short stories, poems and song lyrics. She likes to take walks (especially to catch sunsets), reading, attending screenings and friends productions. She loves to take photographs and to tell funny stories. She will never say no to a game of scrabble.
