Lynne Conner, as an artist, my role is to inspire, empower, challenge, entertain and heal through the arts. A Film graduate of MSMU, Lynne directed her 1st short Film Raising KIngs about intergenerational healing in a male family. Conner has produced several short films, most recently The Donkey and she can be seen in Shooters Stance by Al Woodley & The Unemployment of Danny London. She has lead roles in several short films including Dyng 2 Live, Kontrolled, and Tale of Two Dragons, to name a few. Conner has a starring role in the straight to video blockbuster film Johnson Family Dinner and the sequel Johnson Christmas Dinner. Some of Conner's stage credits include Nostalgia & Dreams, A Sunday Morning Kind of Gal, Bones of Lesser Men (2009 L.A. Weekly nominee for Best Ensemble & NAACP Theatre Award Winner), Chicago Club Rumboogie, Misconceptions, and The Bow Wow Club (a NAACP Theatre Award winner). Lynne Conner is an Inner City Cultural Center Alumni. She studied with George C. Wolfe, Shirley Jo Finney, Francisco Cali, A.C.T., Richard Lawson, and promotes filmmakers for the Black Hollywood Education and Resource Center & Films With A Purpose.
Lynne Conner is a native of Los Angeles, California. Her mother, Doris Conner, is a fashion designer and her sister, Tuesday Conner, is a costumier and producer. Lynne's mother taught them both how to sew and design at an early age. For years, Lynne designed costumes. After raising her children, Conner returned to the stage to pursue her dreams. She started her PR Firm "Publicity4you" because of her passion for theatre & film. Lynne has performed in numerous plays and independent films in the Los Angeles area and her career is growing.
