Match #1: Mark Briscoe def. Bryan Keith The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:
Bryan Keith went right at Briscoe, but Briscoe turned the tables with chops and stomps. Briscoe caught Keith with a hell stab in the throat. Chicken took flight with boots to Bryan’s face. Briscoe was looking for the Cactus elbow drop but Keith rolled out of the way. Briscoe suplexed Keith on the arena floor and then finally leveled Keith with the Cactus elbow drop! Back in the ring, Briscoe served up more redneck kung fu. Mark set up a steel chair in the ring. Bryan Keith knocked the chair down.

With the death of Gojo Satoru under his name, Ryomen Sukuna is without a doubt one of the strongest, if not the strongest, characters in Jujutsu Kaisen. He held back not only against Gojo but also Kashimo, Higuruma, Kusakabe, Takuma Ino, Choso, Maki Zenin, Yuta, Yuji, Miguel, Larue, and Aoi Todo.
And out of them, Sukuna had to face a bunch of them at the same time, like Yuji and Todo. Sukuna was so Op that Gege Akutami had to bring Nobara out from the dead in order for Yuji to finally finish him off. However, as impressive Sukuna already is, there’s someone else who is shown more menacing and terrifying. And that is the Sorcerer Killer, Toji Fushiguro.
Toji surpasses Sukuna in one aspect that fans couldn’t predict Toji...

Jujutsu Kaisen wouldn’t be where it is today if it wasn’t for the combined effort of its author, Gege Akutami, the editors and the staff members at Shueisha. The series has come a long way from the one shot, Jujutsu Kaisen 0, where fans probably would have thought Yuta Okkotsu would be the main character of Jujutsu Kaisen.
Jujutsu Kaisen 0 | Credits: Studio Mappa
However, things took quite a turn for the series from its initial concepts to its final product. Gege wrote Jujutsu Kaisen with no themes to follow but wanted to write and draw cool-looking characters. And critics found Yuta more compelling than Yuji Itadori, who, while having several similarities with Yuta, has different characterizations. Well, things would have gone their way if only Gege’s editor hadn’t intervened!

Jujutsu Kaisen is one of those series that has reached international fans beyond its medium. The infamous Gojo “Nah, I’d win” meme had spread far and wide that even non-anime fans, who have zero clue about the medium, knew about Gojo and Jujutsu Kaisen through the meme.

Sure, Jujutsu Kaisen‘s rise to fame began with the anime by Studio Mappa, but there’s no mistake that the series has a huge impact on the minds of media fans in general. But now, things have changed, as not only Jujutsu Kaisen is ending on September 30 but also the conclusion isn’t what fans were expecting.

Whenever the discussion about the strongest character in Jujutsu Kaisen comes up, the one individual who deserves an honorary mention is none other than Aoi Todo, the Grade 1 Jujutsu sorcerer. Todo’s endeavors as a sorcerer have been historic, and he has had a major impact on the character development of the protagonist of the series, Itadori Yuji.
Aoi Todo in the Jujutsu Kaisen | Credit: Mappa Studios
Aoi Todo is the perfect supporting character, as he has had a considerable amount of impact in almost every aspect of the narrative despite being absent from it most of the time. He has been used in humor, in emotional moments, and especially in battles. However, there is one unique fact about Aoi that Jujutsu Kaisen fans might have failed to realize.
The fact is that Aoi Todo is the only one who has been involved in all three major battles of the series.

Early on in “Happyend,” writer/director Neo Sora’s assured first narrative feature following his revelatory documentary about his late father, “Ryuichi Sakamoto: Opus,” we see a group of youths running into the silent streets of Tokyo after police shut down an underground party. Things could have been dire had it not been for two of them creating a distraction so they could all escape, yet they yell out in excitement as they hurl themselves into the darkness of the night before everything stops and they’re all frozen in time.
Accompanied by Lia Ouyang Rusli’s stellar score, the title card gently appears then quickly disappears. It’s as if we’re getting a fleeting snapshot of youthful joy we already feel is coming to an end. Their world is getting bigger just as it does smaller as they must face down adulthood while grappling with the growing repression all around them.

Itadori Yuji has come a long way from being questioned as the protagonist to finally taking down the King of Curses in Jujutsu Kaisen. Despite his short time as a sorcerer, Yuji’s growth has been fascinating. In every fight, he evolves by huge margins, adding new powers to his arsenal. A spot reserved for the main character in Shonen anime and manga was secured by Gojo in Jujutsu Kaisen up until the very end.

During the final fight against Sukuna, Yuji might have taken that spot from his master Gojo. Among the members of his generation, Yuji is easily the strongest character, on par with Yuta. The latter is more gifted as compared to Yuji but his potential gives him an edge. And that’s partially what has helped him surpass Gojo as well.

Spoiler Alert !!!Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 269 spoilers
The conclusion of Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen is just around the corner as Yuji and the gang finally manage to take down Sukuna. However, it was not an easy task as they lost many prominent characters along the way. The one major character that many believed would also lose his life in the process was Yuta Okkotsu, as he did something that was next to impossible.

The special-grade sorcerer first challenged Sukuna on his own and almost won, but when Sukuna overpowered him, Yuta swapped bodies and made a grand return as Gojo Satoru. He somehow copied the brain transplanting technique of Kenjaku and used it to take over Gojo’s body, helping their battle against Sukuna in a major way.
But the main point of concern for Jujutsu Kaisen fans was Yuta’s return to his own body.

In a recent development in the manga, Gege Akutami revealed that the, now strongest sorcerer, Yuta had thrown the final blow on Jujutsu Kaisen‘s secondary antagonist, Kenjaku. However, it has created a very controversial topic among the fans.

Looking a little deeper into the plot twist, there is a great possibility this event was actually a successful attempt to hide a terrible reality, that Yuta’s actual strength isn’t really that impressive. In fact, he has major weaknesses. But what exactly set off this uproar, and how does it question the existing belief in Yuta’s abilities?

“Something big is about to change,” is surely one ominous beginning for a debut fiction feature, but director Neo Sora knows how to calibrate the fine balance between anticipation and inevitability. A story set in the near future, Happyend makes Tokyo a vast playground to high-school seniors gathered around childhood pals Yuta (Hayato Kurihara) and Kou (Yukito Hidaka). Life is blooming and the future is ripe for those teenagers, even if the whole city is constantly preparing itself for a catastrophic earthquake. Daily drills and false alarms interrupt an otherwise-smooth rhythm where Yuta and Kou gather their classmates at their Music Research Club, an extracurricular that’s more enjoyable than practical in purpose. With a fully equipped school room at their disposal at all times, the gang can build a secure microcosm for the shared love of electronic avant-garde and a generally good time.

Three years on from their smashing success at the box office, Yuta and Rika are preparing to step into the spotlight once more for a stage play version of Gege Akutami's Jujutsu Kaisen 0 prequel manga. Kensaku Kobayashi directs the new adaptation and Kohei Kiyasu pens the script, both of whom helmed the previous Jujutsu Kaisen stage plays. The daunting working conditions of the anime-manga industry are public knowledge, yet leak culture persists. Many animators and mangaka work themselves to the point of exhaustion and this reflects heavily in their poor health and the absence of work-life balance. All these problems have been a hot topic in recent news. Finally, there’s a positive development that is reassuring for both fans and those integral to the industry.

There’s no battle shonen without the sensei guiding the main character to become stronger and Jujutsu Kaisen is no exception. Gojo Satoru was a master and a father figure for Yuji, Megumi, and so many students under his wing.
During the Hidden Inventory arc, Gojo was declared the strongest character in Jujutsu Kaisen, and towards the end of the series, Gojo and Sukuna still remained the strongest. Despite hating Gojo to oblivion, author Gege Akutami still decided to keep the sorcerer unmatched from the Pov of his students.
And that is something other Shonen mangakas failed to do.

Speculative fiction as cautionary sociopolitical commentary, Happyend marks a confident first step into narrative features for Neo Sora, who made last year’s stirring documentary tribute to his late father, Ryuichi Sakamoto: Opus. The Japanese writer-director offsets the film’s depth of feeling with understatement and gentle humor, working with an appealing young cast as graduation-year high school classmates facing — or refusing to face — a bleak outlook for their future. Capturing that transitional moment when seemingly permanent adolescent ties suddenly appear uncertain, this is a melancholy drama laced with notes of anger and disquiet, but also resilience.
Sora opens with onscreen text about the traditional enforcers of crumbling systems growing weary in the near future, ushering in a time of change. That change is represented by youthful rebellion.
Keeping his focus tight on five inseparable friends plus one influential outsider to the group, the filmmaker effectively views their acts of individual and collective resistance,...

Jujutsu Kaisen is a popular Shonen manga known for its exploration of dark and supernatural themes along with gore. It is popular in its depiction of Japanese folklore along with urban legends. Of all the deaths in the series, Satoru Gojo’s death is established as the saddest. While Gege Akutami is notorious for killing off fan’s favorite characters they aren’t exempt from the hatred and backlash.

Although Gojo’s death in the manga was a horrifying sight, Nanami’s departure takes the cake. While he may not be as popular as Gojo he was in a league of his own. From being a salaryman to a grade 1 sorcerer, he played a pivotal role in shaping Yuji Itadori’s character growth. Moreover, his death in the series was a death more brutal than the honored one.

Satoru Gojo, arguably the most popular character of Jujutsu Kaisen, was sealed off by Kenjaku (pseudo-Geto) at the onset of the Culling Game arc. This move by Gege Akutami was considered extremely controversial at the time
Before you get to how Gojo could have been free, you first need to understand the sole creature capable of doing the impossible, Mahoraga. Mahoraga is the most powerful shinigami of the Ten Shadows Technique and is extremely difficult to tame. However, one user was able to summon him, and that is Megumi.
Megumi summoned Mahoraga as a last resort against Sukuna, and the shikigami was able to compete physically with the King of Curses. The most notable power of Mahoraga is ‘Adaptation.’ It enables the shikigami to adapt to any and all phenomena. With just 5 chapters left for Jujutsu Kaisen to end, Kugisaki Nobara has returned in the series. A comeback this late in the story inevitably makes one wonder about what will happen next. Satoru Gojo was the strongest Jujutsu Kaisen character, if he returns he holds the power to settle the fight on his own. Even though he has been confirmed to be dead, fans still find themselves wondering, what if Gojo returns.

Gojo has a fanbase that worships him, and his return is bound to make some fans happy. However, this twist will wreck the story beyond repair. Yuta Okkotsu is one of the most potent sorcerers in Jujutsu Kaisen. Initially, Gege Akutami wanted him to be the protagonist instead of Yuji Itadori. They made him the protagonist in Jujutsu Kaisen Volume 0, which later was adapted into a movie. Yuta’s Cursed Technique is Copy, which grants him the ability to copy other sorcerers’ Cursed Techniques.
Even though it was mentioned that he can copy other people’s Cursed Techniques, Jujutsu Kaisen English translator John Werry added an extra element to Yuta’s abilities. Werry’s misinterpretation allowed him to be able to copy Domain Expansions too. Even though Gege Akutami never gave him an upgrade in his abilities, John Werry did.
