Miss Guy is best known as a cutting-edge songwriter and solo artist, as
the lead singer of Toilet Boys, and as "a pioneer in the DJ world"
(Marc Spitz/Spin). Born in Southern California, Miss Guy grew up in the
Rock scene of New York City with mentors including Deborah Harry and
Boy George.
Miss Guy's solo EP "Dumb Blonde", produced by Barbara Jean Morrison and Charles W. Nieland, was released worldwide in 2012. His creative and provocative music videos for Dumb Blonde, Sometimes, Don't Stop, and Take It Off have received significant media attention. His recent holiday release "Merry Effin' Christmas" quickly became the tune for holiday season 2012.
Miss Guy co-wrote the hit single "Charm Alarm" with Deborah Harry, which was certified gold. He co-produced the Blondie hit "In the Flesh" with Super Buddha and co-wrote "Stay Away from Pretty Boys" with Boy George.
With the Toilet Boys, Miss Guy toured the US, Europe, and Asia with Blondie, The Ramones, Rancid, The Damned, Joan Jett, Motorhead, The Donnas, and The Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Toilet Boys opened for Guns N' Roses at Webster Hall in NYC in 2012. They played the Azkena Rock Festival alongside music legends KISS and Bob Dylan and covered "Born to Be Bad" on the Runaways' tribute album. Toilet Boys also took part in a benefit with Buck Cherry and in the Don Hill Celebration at Irving Plaza in NYC. Toilet Boys' hit song "Another Day in the Life" was featured in American Pie 2. Their music has also been featured on Last Call with Carson Daly, Becoming, Cribs, Driven, Fraternity Life, My Super Sweet 16, Sorority Life, Fashionably Loud, and MTV Spring Break.
As a DJ, Miss Guy took New York by storm at the legendary party, SqueezeBox! As the leading New York City rock DJ, he has spun in booths all over the world from Tokyo to Milan to London.
