Adam is a London based Senior Colourist with 15+ years of experience working across episodic series, documentaries and feature films. He is known for his innovative and unique colour approach to documentaries which has won him two Royal Television Society Awards for 'The United Nations Sex Abuse Scandal' and the "The Rise of the Nazis' series for BBC.
He has brought his artistic eye and technical expertise to an astonishing 9 Grierson award nominated projects; such as '9/11 One day in America', 'The Doctor Who Gave Up Drugs', 'My Dad, the Peace Deal and Me', 'Bricks!', 'Murder in the Pacific', 'Stabbed: Britain's Knife Crime Crisis' & 'In Cold Blood'. 'In Cold Blood' further won best current affairs documentary at the International Emmy Awards 2021, and was nominated in Royal Television Society: Best Current Affairs Documentary 2021.
He has been nominated on five occasions in the 'excellence in grading' category in the Broadcast Tech Awards for his work on both scripted and unscripted projects ; including the Amazon series 'All or nothing : Arsenal' ; 'The Murder of Jill Dando' which won best single documentary at the Bafta Cyrmu awards 2020; and 'In My Skin' which won an RTS award for best drama series in 2021 and a BAFTA Cymru award in 2020.
His other impressive feature credits include; 'The Amazing Maurice' which premiered at Sundance festival in 2023 and won best animation at the Pulcinella awards 2023; 'Bonus Track' and 'Baltimore' shown at the BFI London film festival in 2023 with 'Baltimore' nominated for best film. It also premiered at the 50th Telluride film festival ; 'Into the Storm' which won best documentary at the Brooklyn film festival in 2020; 'El Testigo' which was nominated for best documentary at the International Emmy Awards 2020; 'Rose plays Julie' which premiered at the London Film Festival in 2019 and which The Guardian listed as one of the best films to see in 2021; 'They will have to Kill us first', which had its premiere at SXSW in 2015 and was official selection of many international film festivals that year.
