Pascal Borno and Scott Karol’s Conquistador Entertainment has come on board to handle sales in Cannes on Lovesick starring Friends actor Matt LeBlanc, Ali Larter and Chevy Chase.
Luke Matheny directed the story about two people paralysed by fear of love who must learn to overcome their phobias. Dean Young wrote the screenplay.
Paradigm represents Us rights to the film. Producers Josh Goldstein, Travus Pope and Michael Roiff brokered the deal with Karol.
“We are extremely excited to be selling this film at this juncture, as Matt LeBlanc’s TV series Episodes is a worldwide hit and the film showcases his comedic talents,” said Karol.
Conquistador’s sales slate includes the Jennifer Aniston drama Cake that also stars Sam Worthington and Anna Kendrick. Borno and Karol are screening footage on the Croisette.

Adam Rodriguez and Rachael Harris have joined the cast of Lovesick. The duo will star with Matt LeBlanc, Ali Larter, Chevy Chase and Kristin Johnson in the indie romantic comedy. Lovesick tells the tale of Charlie Darby, a sweet high school principal who goes off the rails whenever he falls in love. Rodriguez will play Jason, the married best friend to LeBlanc’s Charlie character. Harris will play Roberta, an aggressive date of Charlie’s. Luke Mathaney, who won an Oscar in 2011 for his short film Love of God, is directing Lovesick. Dean Young wrote the screenplay and is an executive producer on the film. Michael Roiff and Travus Pope are producing, with Rachel Berk and Josh Goldstein co-producing. Lovesick is currently filming in Los Angeles.
