JACKIE MARAYA GRIFFIN was born and raised in San Diego, California (now living in Atlanta, GA) and is a proud 1st generation Filipina-American. She is a former professional stage actress/singer/dancer turned Mother of 3 and autism advocate. A few of Jackie's credits include Miss Saigon (German Company) The Wiz (La Jolla Playhouse) The King & I (Tuptim - multiple regional productions) and was honored to be in the last cast to work with the original creative team of RENT (National Tour - Mimi, Alexi, Dance Captain). "Momager" to the Griffin Ohana, Jackie has also done on-camera work and can be seen in ABC's hit series LOST and in numerous commercials and print ads alongside her husband, Ka'eo and 2 industry kids, Koa & Hoku.
She is the owner of Jackie Maraya Griffin Voice Studio and has been a pro vocal coach and singing teacher for over 20 years. Her passion is nurturing the next generation of performing artists! Many of her students have gone on to becoming professional performers and teachers themselves - playing leads and winning numerous awards. Jackie has taught musical theatre and vocal master classes and has adjudicated shows and talent competitions all over in San Diego (SDMT, SCPA, UCSD, BSD, SD SINGS, SING Pilipinas) In 2019, she was honored as an outstanding professional with a TOP HAT by the Phil Am BID.
Of all the roles Jackie has played, her favorite roles are wife to her best friend, momager to her 3 kiddos and autism acceptance advocate for their special angel, Ka'eo Jr.
