British filmmaker Paul Raschid is developing a new interactive film. Deadline reports Raschid's latest project, The Run, is an "interactive horror-thriller" that puts the fate of its protagonists into the viewer's hands. Ouch, poor them. If you watched Black Mirror's Bandersnatch or enjoy visual novels, you'll have an idea of what to expect.
Raschid is no stranger to this hybrid genre, having previously worked on interactive titles like the hostage-thriller The Gallery, the romantic comedy Five Dates, and its sequel, Ten Dates. Both rom-coms function like visual novels and are available on platforms like Steam, Apple's App Store, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
So, so, so proud I can finally announce this...

Like the experimental “Black Mirror: Bandersnatch” before it, upcoming horror movie The Run will be taking an interactive approach, allowing You to decide the outcome of events.
Deadline reports today that Roxanne McKee (“Game of Thrones”) and George Blagden (“Vikings”) will star in The Run, which will be directed by Paul Raschid (Ten Dates).
The site details, “The interactive element will involve the viewer being asked to make high-stakes decisions for the protagonist at various points throughout the story that will affect the direction of the narrative and in some cases, result in early death.”
Here’s the plot synopsis for The Run: “The story is set on a remote running trail, where a famous fitness influencer’s morning run becomes a race for survival when she is hunted by seemingly motiveless killers. She meets local farmer Matteo along the way and the viewer’s choices determine whether they live or die.

Establishing a shared cinematic universe is hard. Take Warner Bros. and DC's attempt at matching the success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, for instance. Though it had some commercial successes, the DC Extended Universe ultimately disintegrated over the course of several recent box office bombs that included superheroic flop "The Flash." Then, there was Universal, with its ill-fated Dark Universe, which would have seen updated takes on classic Universal monsters inhabiting a shared timeline that would ultimately lead to some sort of monster team-up. Unfortunately, the whole thing failed almost instantly with the disappointment that was 2017's "The Mummy."
Now, with the almighty MCU even struggling to maintain its dominance amid the deluge of "content" being pumped out in its name, it seems harder than ever to construct and maintain a successful shared cinematic universe. But that won't stop horror director Rhys Frake-Waterfield, who is now threatening an entire interconnected...

The Twisted Childhood Universe, also known as the Poohniverse, is taking shape. In case you've yet to be clued into what this is all about, the cinematic universe is set to take classic childhood tales now in the public domain and give them a horror movie twist. Things kicked off with the not-so-great "Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey," a film that earned bad reviews but made good money. Now the killer Pooh Bear is back with "Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2," a film that's defying the odds and actually garnering good reviews.
Things aren't stopping there, though. The next film in the line-up is "Bambi: The Reckoning," a dark and twisted retelling of "Bambi." And this is a far cry from the gentle young deer seen in the classic Disney film. No, this deer is big, mean, and out for blood. The first "Bambi: The Reckoning" teaser awaits you above, and...

Oh dear. The Poohniverse is expanding. Umbrella Entertainment has released the first teaser for the next installment of their B-movie horror franchise centered on horrifying versions of beloved children’s characters.
In the teaser for Bambi: The Reckoning, two hunters are seen practicing shooting in the woods with a dead bird tied to a tree. “You ever shot a deer?” one hunter asks the other. “No. Have you?” the second hunter replies. “Yeah, once,” the first hunter says. The teaser seems to imply that this hunter is the same one who killed Bambi’s mother.
The final shots of the teaser show a vicious and angry deer attacking a car. The vehicle turns completely over before the deer lets out a guttural roar. The main plot of the film is said to follow characters Xana (Roxanne McKee) and her son Benji (Tom Mulheron) who are in the car wreck and...

Bambi is ready to take revenge after losing his mother. Upcoming indie-horror film “Bambi: The Reckoning” capitalizes on the devastating Disney animated movie’s backstory — but this Bambi will: F**k. You. Up. The film follows Xana (Roxanne McKee) and her son Benji (Tom Mulheron) who find themselves in a car wreck and are soon hunted down by the vicious killing machine, Bambi.
The teaser was shared with a “Coming Soon” tease from Umbrella Entertainment, the same studio behind viral feature “Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey.” Directed by Rhys Frake-Waterfield, that one centers on deranged serial killers Pooh and Piglet who dismember teens on vacation in the Hundred Acre woods.
Umbrella has been opportunistic in its approach to ruining your precious childhood memories (and possibly bringing back those nightmares) with its sicko takes on classic kids IP that recently entered the public domain.

The brand new trailer for Bambi: The Reckoning has arrived, giving a first look at the latest Poohniverse installment entry that puts a horror twist on a classic children’s property.
It follows “Xana (Roxanne McKee) and her son Benji (Tom Mulheron) who find themselves in a car wreck and soon hunted down by the vicious killing machine, Bambi.”
That’s right. There’s nothing sweet and doe-eyed about Bambi this time. See for yourself in the teaser trailer below.
Filming on Bambi: The Reckoning kicked off on January 6, 2024 in England with a planned Fall 2024 release.
Director Dan Allen (Unhinged) previews, “It’s gonna be terrifying. When people see a deer in the wild after this film they’re gonna run for the hills. This film is about the death of childhoods as much as it’s gonna ruin childhoods Expect bloodshed, tears and rabbits… and one mean killer deer.

Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble will bring together horror versions of Pooh, Peter Pan, Bambi, & more
Made on a budget of less than $100,000, director Rhys Frake-Waterfield’s movie Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey (watch it Here) earned more than $6 million during its global release in early 2023, so the sequel Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 is set to receive a three-day theatrical run in the United States on March 26, 27, and 28th, courtesy of Fathom Events, ITN Studios, and Jagged Edge Productions. (Tickets can be purchased online at Fathom Events or at participating theatre box offices.) We’ve previously heard that Frake-Waterfield and producer Scott Jeffrey Chambers are planning to create a cinematic universe with the Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey films and other horror movies inspired by children’s stories, like Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare, Bambi: The Reckoning, and Pinocchio Unstrung. Ah, the magic of the public domain. The arch nemesis of studios and corporations and copyright lawyers everywhere is nothing but a boon to the rest of us, allowing literally anyone to get their hands on famous properties and shamelessly twist and pervert them beyond all recognition. That's precisely what happened with the beloved character of Winnie the Pooh just over two years ago, allowing for a slew of knockoff (and frankly terrible) B-movie horror flicks like "Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey" and its upcoming sequel. Well, things are about to kick into another gear entirely as an entire shared universe is apparently now in the works.
Just when you thought it was safe to visit the Hundred Acre Wood again. In the bloodiest and most un-family-friendly news we'll probably get this week, Variety revealed that the creative team responsible for "Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey" is now...

Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 hits theaters March 26, 27, 28th from Fathom Events, a sequel to last year’s viral hit that ended up making nearly $5 million at the box office. ITN Studios & Jagged Edge Productions are all-in on their “Twisted Childhood Universe,” but what’s the end game? As it turns out, they’re planning an Avengers-style mashup.
For starters, the growing “Twisted Childhood Universe” will feature previously announced stand-alone films Bambi: The Reckoning, Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare and Pinocchio Unstrung and introduce new characters such as Sleeping Beauty, The Mad Hatter, and Rabbit from Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood and Honey.
All of these characters will come together in Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble in 2025 when the monsters join forces to take down the world.
Blood and Honey 2‘s end credits will feature a first look at the upcoming Poohniverse.
Producer of Jagged Edge Productions Rhys Frake-Waterfield explains, “It will be complete carnage.

"Looks like you got a secret admirer!" FilmRise has revealed an official trailer for a tech thriller called The Admirer, from filmmaker Martin Makariev. It is getting dumped onto VOD later this month if anyone is curious about watching. A woman searches for answers when her life is hacked by a mysterious person from her past, who is harboring a dangerous obsession. "It shines a light on the all-too-real possibilities we deal with today and how invisible the perpetrators can be." But none of this is real... The film stars Roxanne McKee, Richard Fleeshman, Tina Casciani, Christina Bennington, Sarah Blake, Jordan Ford Silver, and Jack Parr. This just seems to be another fear-mongering film playing up all the scary things that could happen, but never will happen. Mostly because they do not actually understand tech and none of these "hacks" are real, but they will still pretend it can "happen to anyone.

Call me cynical and unromantic, but the best thing Pandora Season 2 Episode 2 had to offer was the possibility of the Jax and Xander relationship actually going kaputs.
I know it won't last, but a reprieve from the bad pillow-talk and worse sitcom-esque lovemaking is welcome.
Meanwhile, I'm rooting for the Zatarians and actually a little worried about their homeworld. Definitely more than I was for Lost-in-Space Xander at the end of Pandora Season 2 Episode 1 anyway.
The entire concept of the Clayton's World society is incredibly absurd, as well as superlatively disturbing.
My first issue is with the Council being perpetually young and No One noticing as they are sent off through some weird portal year after year.
Of course, the first batches of portal fodder would've been those older than the twenty-five year-old cut-off. I assume they started with the actual injured and feeble and then started moving the cut-off down,...

Never fear, Section 20 is still here. The Strike Back TV show has been renewed for a seventh season. Cinemax refers to this as a season six renewal, because the subscription cable network picked up the British-American TV series, starting with season two in 2011. In 2013, they then went back and aired the first season of six episodes as a special mini-series called Origins. A Cinemax action-adventure spy drama, in its sixth season Strike Back stars Warren Brown, Daniel MacPherson, Roxanne McKee, Alin Sumarwata, Nina Sosanya, Katherine Kelly, and Trevor Eve. The espionage exploits of Section 20 will, indeed, continue with Cinemax’s order for Strike Back Season 6.
Strike Back Season 6 is coming soon to Cinemax.
The niche-audience nature of the series continues to mirror the clandestine nature of the premise, which depicts British Intelligence secret multinational special ops team Section 20, a deadly-effective, but unacknowledged force. The long-running series, which can name plenty of prominent cast alumni, came back for Season 5 in October 2017 with a soft reboot of sorts, affixed with the subtitle, Retribution, brandishing fresh new cast members and a new mission. Fortunately for the fans, Cinemax gave the order for Strike Back Season 6 in March 2018, even before the Season 5 finale arrived.
