Josh Adamson is originally from Australia and is now based in Los Angeles. He has also worked in New York on several projects including the Broadway workshop of "Taboo" in the role of Marilyn alongside Boy George & producer Rosie O'Donnell.
He has had leading and supporting roles in feature films. Recently starring as Job in the epic biblical tale of "The Book Of Job" which is currently in international festivals. Other films include "Unidentified", "The Wedding Video", "Painting In The Rain" & "Desert of Blood". He has worked with director Tim Miller (director of "Deadpool") to name a few. He also starred in the TV movie "First Landing" where he portrayed the historic role of Captain John Smith. Other television credits include Amazon Prime's "Almost Paradise-Season Two", reoccurring on General Hospital, "Make It Or Break It" & "Big Time Rush"
American theatre credits include "The Prom", "Matilda", "The Producers", the original production of "Walter Paisley-Plastered" which is currently work-shopping in West End, directed by Jerry Zaks. "Big Fish" (Theatre Critics Circle nomination for "Outstanding Lead Actor") "Catch Me If You Can", "Funny Girl" (Ovation Award winning), "Aida", "The Producers", "Lovelace" by the Go Go's. US national tours of 360 London's production of "Peter Pan" starring as Hook.
He has performed in multiple Pantos in both Australia and the US alongside the Tony Award winning Ben Vereen in Los Angeles & Australia's legendary Magda Szubanski in Sydney to name a few.
Josh is currently working on a new show with an award winning script, based on the true story "Albert DJ Cashier", set during the Civil War, with the producers of Broadway's "Beautiful, The Carol King Musical". He's also in development with the English adaptation of another Award Winning show from Argentina called "Los Monstrous-The Monsters".
