Bartek was born in western Poland in 1980. His early passion for photography quickly turned into a profession. He graduated from the Cinematography Department of the legendary Polish National Film School in Lodz in 2004.
He has worked as a Director of Photography for numerous feature films and miniseries, and has shot hundreds of commercials around the world.
Among his best-known productions are: High Water, The Mire, 25 Years of Innocence and Love in Space.
He is a member of the Polish and European Film Academy and a member of the Polish Society of Cinematographers. He has been nominated for and received awards at film festivals all over the world (including the Cannes Lions, Camerimage Festival and the Polish Film Awards) and is also a three-time winner of the PSC Award.
