Born in Tucson, AZ, Ron moved to Southern California at age 16. After finishing high school in Orange County, he studied at Orange Coast College and UCI, focusing on Theater Arts, Music and Radio/TV communication.
In 1975, Ron moved to Hollywood and started working as an extra/feature, stunt player and Voice Over actor. Ron enrolled at Merrick Studios in Hollywood and studied voice, film techniques and characterization. He performed mainly in stage productions in Hollywood and surrounding areas as well as film extra work.
He has also performed as a singer/guitarist for many years in the Southern California area and still performs occasionally as well as writing and recording various musical projects both personally and for film/video projects. (Theme music).
Upon his return to Arizona to care for his mother, Ron started working at Old Tucson Studios as a stunt performer. He also performed a magic show created by Mark Wilson Productions titled 'The Wizard of the West'.
He moved back to Los Angeles after his mother passed away and returned in 2009 to assist a local SAG agency in Tucson as a sub-agent. He is now continues to produce, direct and write films and plays music locally.
