Normita Joven is the CEO/Director for Icon Studios Dallas. Icon Studios
Dallas is a management company, studio, casting facility, and resource
center that has helped all types of artists succeed in TV, film,
modeling, promotions, and live events both locally and internationally.
Icon Studios Dallas is based on the principals of honestly, integrity,
and loyalty and was created to inspire artists to live their dreams.
Normita worked as the Executive Producer of the Uptown Girl Poolside
Miami in Dallas Fashion show held at SISU Uptown Resort in Dallas,
Texas. Normita also works as a casting director, recent projects
include casting director for "SWAT School" Teaser and Season II Reality
Show with Troy Entertainment; Casting Department for Miramar Pictures
"Get Justice," and for 20th Century Fox network producer Garry A.
Brown's first feature film "Charlie: A Toy Story." For the past 8 years
Normita has enjoyed being a monthly columnist for Beauty Fashion, an
international beauty magazine located in New York City. Normita has had
the privilege of covering high profile events in the Dallas beauty
industry for the past 8 years interviewing such celebrities and high
fashion executives as Vince Camuto, Carlos Santana, Kim Kardashian,
Jessica Simpson, and Sean Jean "P Diddy" Combs. Normita is also an
on-camera host and is one of four co-hosts for "The Dream BIG Dallas"
talk show. As a hobby this SMU Alumni still enjoys acting and stunt
work. Normita has appeared in hundreds of commercials, TV, film, and
commercial print projects including a guest starring role on Big Rich
Texas with Melissa Poe and is working on a few lead roles and stunt
work in films (yes a black belt). This honors scholarship graduate with
a degree in broadcast journalism loves to make people who have made
positive contributions in the world shine through her interviews with
them. In conclusion, Normita strives to make a difference and positive
impact in the world by inspiring, motivating, and mentoring as many
people as possible in her lifetime.
