- Was confirmed as the public face of a campaign for Women's Refuge that urges women to look out for early signs a partner may turn violent. (August 2008)
- Has two tattoos in dedication to the Rocky movies on each hip. Dialogue from the film reading - 'It ain't about how hard you hit, it's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done.'.
- Roxanne doesn't drink alcohol. She recently admitted that she often accepts a glass of bubbly at special occasions to be polite and later hides it behind a plant pot and orders a lemonade.

- Roxanne is an ambassador for the Eden Valley Hospice in Carlisle. She donated £68,000 to them from her Soapstar Superstar winnings to build a children's ward called the Jigsaw Appeal.

- In July 2018, whilst doing a segment for Minister FM Radio, Roxanne was involved in an accident whilst driving an F2 Outlaw Stock Car at Hunmanby Raceway, North Yorkshire. Roxanne has driven head on into the Armco barrier on the first bend at less than 40mph, and had to be cut free from the undamaged Car by FireFighters. She was then airlifted to Hospital, 2 hours after the accident. Roxanne only received minor injuries with 2 sprained wrists and minor bruising and was able to return home shortly afterwards.
- Toured and performed with boyband BLUE on their 2013 tour and was later linked to Simon Webbe in the press, although they both denied the claims saying they are just very close friends.
- Was in a relationship with Premiership Footballer Danny Simpson when he played for Manchester United. (2008-2009) The pair remain friends.

- Roxanne first found fame following her time on Emmerdale back in 2005 and stayed until 2008.
- Roxanne spent a year co-creating a TV show as part of her record deal that she would be later left out of due to an unfortunate management conflict. In true underdog nature, she sold all her possessions and along with her mother's savings, bought a guitar and invested every penny in trying to hold on to her record deal. Her tenacity was noticed by a casting director who introduced her to her first agent and months later in 2005, Roxanne caught the eye of ITV for Emmerdale.
