Dan Fox is one of the lead actors in the International Emmy Award and Canadian Screen Award winning web series Guidestones. This series was shot globally (India, Kiev, Marseilles and Chernobyl) and is one of the first of its kind in a now thriving genre. Dan Fox can currently be seen on the new season of Mayday, as well as past episodes of Reign, Degrassi: The Next Generation, 12 Monkeys and Murdoch Mysteries.
Dan has numerous national commercial credits to his name including spots for Home Depot, McDonald's, VISA, Interac, Toyota, Canadian Tire, McCain and Crown Royal to name a few. He has also done voice work for television commercials.
As an actor, Dan has always highly valued training on a regular basis. He's trained at all the top studios across Toronto and with internationally renowned acting coaches and as such, has formed an integrated and multidisciplinary approach based on solid skill sets that work.
Dan served in the Canadian Armed Forces for 6 years. He left honorably as a Corporal and as a Marksman. He is proficient with military grade weaponry, as well as field and close quarter combat. To add to his current acting skill set, Dan is currently studying mixed martial arts and is looking to compete in 2019 in Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. In 2020 he hopes to step into the octagon and make his amateur MMA debut.
Recently, Dan received his certification in Permaculture Design and is involved in regenerative agriculture projects throughout Ontario.
