Rachel Benson is a producer living in San Francisco, CA. Originally born and raised in New York City, she began her career in marketing and advertising before she received her MA in Broadcast & Communication Arts from San Francisco State University. Her documentary work has taken her as far as Uganda and her narrative, feature film, Opal (2010), screened nationally. She produces videos for non-profits, foundations, schools and small-businesses in addition to running her business curating, cataloging and editing archival footage.
