Kamen Anev began his career as a graphic designer in the theatrical field before turning his focus to commercials and motion pictures. He studied at MOME - Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Budapest receiving degrees as a graphic designer and design manager. He also finished his studies at the Doctoral School focusing on Concept art, Production Media and Set design.
Kamen Anev's professional career spans over a decade, during which he has lent his skills as a concept artist to numerous high-profile films and television series. His notable recent work includes serving as a concept artist for the highly anticipated Dune Movies, directed by Denis Villeneuve and featuring work under the Production Designer Patrice Vermette.
From 2019 to 2022, Anev held the position of Senior Concept Artist at DNEG Vancouver, contributing to several prominent projects such as "Bullet Train," "Foundation," "Uncharted," or post production concept work for Dune.
Anev's earlier works include concept art for blockbuster titles, such as "Spider-Man: Far From Home", "Blade Runner 2049", "The Martian", "Aladdin" "Sin City a Dame to kill for" or "Assassin's Creed".
