Hope for the Future is canceled. Of course, this isn’t the first time the collection has been pulled from Forrester Creations. The couture line has been through its share of ups and downs over the years on The Bold and the Beautiful.
What hasn’t helped is Hope’s identity to the brand. She lost her sense of self after her divorce from Liam. Hope jumped from man to man instead of focusing on herself like she said she would. Now, she doesn’t get the opportunity to reinvent herself.
What is Hope For the Future?
Hope for the Future was a couture collection gifted to Hope (Kim Matula) by her aunt Katie (Heather Tom). At the time, Forrester Creations was a subsidiary of Forrester Creations. Hope didn’t have experience in business acumen, fashion design, or modeling. But that didn’t stop her from getting her visions out there.

The Bold and the Beautiful sees Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) deal with a setback because Hope for the Future (Hftf) can’t retain buyers. It seems to be a design fail. Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) told her father, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) the issues. This comes after a loyal repeat buyer did not want the new collection.
Bold and the Beautiful: Hope Logan The Bold and the Beautiful: Hope Logan’s Fashion Line Struggles Despite Support
On Bold and the Beautiful, back in 2010, Hope for the Future came from a contest for an ad campaign. It was during Katie Logan’s (Heather Tom) time as CEO of Forrester Creations. Hope’s concept won over Steffy’s. And it was because Katie’s personal problems with Steffy pursuing Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).
The ad concept turned into a full fashion line. But Hope is not a designer and never has been.

Longtime friends and collaborators, Jason Reitman and Gil Kenan, reunite once more in this new biopic, charting the explosive birth of the iconic Saturday Night Live comedy program on the US TV network NBC.
Set in the frantic 90 minutes before the show’s inaugural episode aired, Saturday Night expertly captures the unpredictable, high-stakes nature of live television, weaving in biting humour, personal conflicts, and the birth of a cultural phenomenon.
Reitman and Kenan’s script balances tension and comedy, paying homage to the anarchic energy of SNL’s origins while offering insight into the fragile egos, narcotic excesses and volatile personalities that shaped its creation.
The film opens on October 11, 1975, with a visibly stressed Lorne Michaels, portrayed with nuance and gravitas by The Fabelmans star Gabriel Labelle, entering NBC’s 30 Rockefeller Plaza in preparation for the first show. Outside he is greeted by a stressed out NBC page (Stanger Things...

Although she’s a film star now, Kim Matula hasn’t forgotten her The Bold and the Beautiful roots. Her role as Hope is a topic of conversation that Matula is happy to discuss. Recently, the actress shared her opinion on the famous Hope and Liam romance.
Is Lope The New Bridge?
Hope and Liam’s (Scott Clifton) relationship began fourteen years ago, and it’s been filled with ups and downs. Like many soap opera couples, they’ve split up multiple times, mainly because of Liam’s other love, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
Despite the drama and heartache, the couple always finds their way back to each other. With over a decade of captivating viewers with their love story, many believe Lope has earned supercouple status. Yet, others aren’t ready to bestow that honor to the pair.
Matula is one of the people who believes Lope is a B&b supercouple.

Editors Nathan Orloff and Shane Reed were given a new kind of experimental freedom on “Saturday Night,” Jason Reitman’s behind-the-scenes re-enactment of how NBC’s revolutionary late-night sketch comedy show made its live debut on October 11, 1975.
By following anxious producer Lorne Michaels (Gabriel Labelle) as he guides his cast and crew through rehearsals, the editing duo (who previously cut Reitman’s “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire”) essentially make audiences into a fly on the wall during the make or break 90-minute lead up to showtime. Making it all the more interesting, of course, is that the soon-to-be-legendary, “Not Ready for Prime Time Players,” consists of Dan Aykroyd (Dylan O’Brien), John Belushi (Matt Wood), Chevy Chase (Cory Michael Smith), Jane Curtin (Kim Matula), Garrett Morris (Lamorne Morris), Laraine Newman (Emily Fairn), and Gilda Radner (Ella Hunt).
“It was really about the availability of bandwidth,” Reed told IndieWire. “Nathan was on set and I was cutting from L.

Despite being born and spending much of my life on the other side of the Atlantic, I’ve always been a fan of Saturday Night Live. The live format, which not only allows for constant improvisation but also for countless memorable moments of actors breaking character, is immensely appealing, as is the show’s structure – a collection of distinct sketches with musical performances. So naturally, a film based on the pilot episode, specifically the 90 minutes leading up to the broadcast, caught my attention.
Saturday Night is the title of the movie and was also the name of the original show due to a conflict with another late-night program, Saturday Night Live with Howard Cosell. After that show was canceled, SNL adopted the title it’s known by today, becoming a cultural phenomenon that, despite having its greatest impact in its home country, still crossed borders and reached audiences everywhere. Nick De Semlyen’s informative book “Wild and Crazy Guys” ostensibly has the same goal as Jason Reitman’s Saturday Night: fleshing out the legends that shaped the landscape of American comedy for decades to come, beginning with the hectic birth of the seemingly immortal sketch comedy show “Saturday Night Live.” But De Semlyen’s own analysis of the field doesn’t begin right at the beginning; the prologue of his book opens not with a play-by-play of the moments leading to SNL’s first episode, but rather an infamous moment in the show’s second season, in which new troupe member Bill Murray got into a backstage fistfight with former cast superstar (and then-host) Chevy Chase, mere moments before the episode went live.
With one simple anecdote, De Semlyen lays the foundation for a potent examination of the chaos and lacking professionalism that made this era of comedy so refreshing,...

It was no small feat to get “Saturday Night Live” off the ground at NBC, and as a result, the cast of “Saturday Night” is pretty huge. In many cases, the actors also look eerily similar to the people they’re playing.
Hitting theaters everywhere on Oct. 11 after a limited theatrical release in New York and Los Angeles, Jason Reitman’s “Saturday Night” tells the story of the 90 minutes right before the first-ever episode of “SNL.” It’s chaotic and at the time, even Lorne Michaels couldn’t explain what the show was going to be.

Jason Reitman's superb "Saturday Night" features 80 speaking parts, along with dozens of background actors, and a camera that effortlessly weaves through a busy set while capturing the disorderly and anarchic production of the first episode of "Saturday Night Live." That required a lot of meticulous planning, especially when there are long single-take shots that move seamlessly throughout a set that has no edge of frame, which means that everything on that set was designed as if all of it could be seen on camera in any given moment. But even with such careful organization needed to realize this hilarious, frenzied chronicle of showbiz history, Reitman still had moments of last minute inspiration, and one of them resulted in a key scene that serves as a significant moment of realization for showrunner Lorne Michaels (played by "The Fablemans" star Gabriel Labelle).

In 2008, director Jason Reitman lived his “SNL” dream.
He was fresh off the success of “Juno,” which earned Reitman a Best Director Oscar nomination and the film a Best Picture nomination. His agent reached out to Lorne Michaels and relayed Reitman’s wish — to do a guest writing stint on “Saturday Night Live.” And, incredibly, it happened.
“It was like getting to suit up for the Los Angeles Lakers for one night,” Reitman told TheWrap. He and “SNL” writer Simon Rich stayed up until four in the morning on a Tuesday night working on ideas. On Wednesday, they took their three sketch ideas to the table read. “And then later that afternoon I got to be there for the moment when they come out of Lorne’s office and pinned a piece of paper to the wall,” Reitman said. Plot: In the ninety minutes before the live airing of the first episode of Saturday Night Live, a young Lorne Michaels (Gabriel Labelle) desperately tries to keep NBC from pulling the plug while dealing with a cast, writers and crew in open rebellion.

Rachel Sennott didn’t get into the premier sketch comedy group during her tenure at NYU. Now she’s playing one of the architects of the world’s most famous sketch comedy show in Jason Reitman’s Saturday Night. Co-written by the latter and Gil Kenan, the biographical comedy-drama chronicles the messy 90-minute period before the first episode of Saturday Night Live on Oct. 11, 1975. Sennott portrays writer Rosie Shuster, who’s also the first wife of SNL creator Lorne Michaels (Gabriel Labelle). And much like their ambitious attempt to shake up NBC’s Saturday night programming, their marriage, as depicted in the film, is in a similarly fragile, yet oddly collaborative, state.
In contrast with a lot of her castmates, Sennott didn’t have a great deal of existing material to reference during prep, but she did have the ultimate resource one phone call away.
“I spoke to Rosie, which was amazing.

Chicago – Kinetic. Frenetic. Chaotic. Live! Those are just some words to describe the Saturday Night Live origin story “Saturday Night.” Director Jason Reitman has infused this nearly real time tale of the struggle to get the first episode of SNL with an energy that grabs your attention and never lets go. That takes some doing when we all know the ending. SNL would not only make it onto American airwaves, but it would become an improbable television institution and comedy touchstone, now celebrating its 50th season.

Saturday Night Live has long been known for its stars’ impressions of everyone from current politicians like Kamala Harris to historical figures like Vincent Price. Saturday Night, the movie set in the moments before its series premiere, isn’t aiming for verisimilitude on that level: the actors might be playing real-life people, but they’re also creating characters. The object isn’t an SNL, or even MADtv-level impersonation, and the performances shouldn’t really be judged on that basis.
So consider the ranking below — focused solely on the actors playing the show’s original seven cast members, known as the Not Ready for Primetime Players — purely a novelty, and don’t use it to fill out your ballot when it’s time to vote for the Oscars.
Warning: Contains moderate spoilers for Saturday Night.

For his latest nonfiction role, Gabriel Labelle had a rare peek inside his character’s world.
The Saturday Night star recently recalled his visit to 30 Rockefeller Plaza, where he saw a Saturday Night Live taping and met creator Lorne Michaels while portraying him in the film, which premieres nationwide on Oct. 11 following a limited release.
“Our first two days of shooting were in New York, just to shoot outside of 30 Rock, and Lorne was super cool and invited us to watch the Josh Brolin episode live,” he told IndieWire. “And so a handful of us, those who live in New York and then those who were just in New York to shoot regardless, we were able to go and check it out. It was really great.
“Lorne was there, and I actually got to speak with him briefly after the show. We didn’t say too much to each other.

“Saturday Night Live’s” 50th season got off to a good start this past weekend.
Though Jean Smart (“Hacks”) and Jelly Roll were the host and musical guest, respectively, the real stars of “SNL” Episode #1865 were the new character assignments ahead of the 2024 U.S. presidential election.
Former “SNL” cast member (1986-1993) Dana Carvey is our absent-minded (and just generally absent) outgoing commander-in-chief Joe Biden, Maya Rudolph is of course back as Democratic nominee Kamala Harris, Andy Samberg returned to Studio 8H as her husband — the second gentleman who could become the first gentleman come January — Doug Emhoff, standup comedian Jim Gaffigan as her running mate Tim Walz, Bowen Yang as the Republican VP candidate Jd Vance, and of course James Austin Johnson as former president Donald Trump.
The September 28 season premiere landed 5.3 million viewers, the most for a season premiere episode since 2020, when Chris Rock opened the season as host.

Original Saturday Night Live cast member Jane Curtin recently admitted that, during her time on the show, she always thought SNL fans were morons — after all, who else would pay to see the Coneheads movie?
On October 11th, director Jason Reitman and Sony Pictures will unleash their “based on a true story” dramatization of the lead-up to the first-ever episode of SNL, exactly 49 years after the events in question. However, as is the case, the whenever Hollywood turns real people and events into digestible entertainment, Saturday Night will not be without a few brazen, creative liberties when it comes to the SNL mythos. In fact, the Muppets fandom is already calling on a boycott for how the film reportedly presents Jim Henson, played by Succession’s Nicholas Braun, as a hapless rube whom the entire SNL cast and crew bully and berate behind the scenes.

When I first heard about the premise of Jason Reitman’s “Saturday Night” — the entire film takes place in the 90 minutes leading up to the late-night comedy landmark’s first episode in 1975 — I confess that I found the idea to be a head-scratcher. Sure, it seemed like there would be a backstage let’s-put-on-a-show “What can go wrong? Everything can go wrong!” real-time frenetic bustle to the thing. And that sounded like fun.
More to the point, though: The show that came to be called “Saturday Night Live” — in the first season, it was just called “Saturday Night” — didn’t come together overnight, or in 90 minutes. A universe of pitching and planning and casting and writing, along with an infinite number of decisions large and small, went into the formation of a revolutionary new television comedy spirit and form. How was “Saturday Night” created? How was it dreamed up? How did it all come together?...

Columbia Pictures’ Saturday Night from Jason Reitman debuted at $265k, a great $53k per theater that’s the second-best limited opening of the year, and the best since June when Kinds Of Kindness also opened in 5 theaters (to a $75k PTA). It’s been a long a slightly dower wait for something to pop.
Saturday Night made $108K on Friday, $88K on Saturday and a projected $69K on Sunday in LA and New York. Expands Oct. 4 before opening wide on Oct 11 and looks well set up for a nice theatrical run with strong reviews and word of mouth since premiering at Telluride and Toronto.

In 2008, with two lauded features already under his belt (“Thank You for Smoking” and “Juno”), Jason Reitman took a break from one of his professional dreams (be a filmmaker) to fulfill another (be a writer on “Saturday Night Live”). For one week, the writer/director joined the crew of the venerated live sketch comedy show (it was the Ashton Kutcher-hosted episode), an experience he likens to joining the Los Angeles Lakers for a game.
Like most comedy wonks, Reitman had grown up revering “Saturday Night Live,” an affection he channels for his latest, “Saturday Night,” which he also wrote with Gil Kenan. Set on October 11, 1975, the film follows the wild, rag-tag original cast and crew as they attempt to launch the very first episode of the NBC series.
Nothing, of course, goes to plan. How could it? It’s 90 minutes of live comedy. For 109 of its own nonstop minutes,...

Last month, we got the news that Saturday Night, the making-of story behind one of the most successful variety shows in US history, is heading for an 11th October release date in the US, and we also got an introductory trailer to go along with it.
While we still don’t yet now when Saturday Night will be hitting the UK, we do have a full trailer to check out ahead of the film’s arrival.
Starring The Fabelmans breakout Gabriel Labelle as the show’s famed producer, Lorne Michaels, the film reportedly revolves around the 90 minutes before the first broadcast of Michaels’ comedy darling, Saturday Night Live.

Jason Reitman has described Saturday Night as a “comedy thriller” and said that the villain of the movie is time itself. It’s easy to see what he means in the new trailer for the film that depicts the chaotic premiere night of the comedy institution Saturday Night Live. The trailer, newly released by Sony, showcases more of the incredible recreations at Studio 8H, housed at the famous 30 Rockefeller Plaza, along with the cast of the film emulating that ragtag group of soon-to-be over-the-night comedy sensations.
In the new Saturday Night trailer, Labelle’s Lorne Michaels scrambles to get his show on the road in the face of impending failure. Between battling Rockafella Center security, being at odds with Mbc programming higher-up David Tebet (Willem Dafoe), and trying to keep his cast from killing each other, Michaels faces an uphill battle of wills to launch what eventually becomes an institution among television programming.
