Owen W. Barry is an American screenwriter from Birmingham, Alabama.
Developing a love of storytelling and film history at Vanderbilt
University, he spent a semester at the USC School of Cinema-Television
studying writing and directing, then returned to Nashville to work on
country music and hip hop videos until graduation. Upon moving to Los
Angeles, Owen had many odd jobs, until he was hired as a writer's
assistant at Disney and 20th Century Fox.
Owen has a scar just below his right eye from playing "The Dukes of Hazzard" under furniture. His favorite food is spaghetti, and his favorite movie is "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly."
Wrote the slogan for "Boardwalk Empire" season 2.
