Donny Stegall

Created and shot an award wining PSA on racism at 20 years old. After working for the New Jersey Television and Motion Picture Commission, Donny was able to establish contacts through out the sate. By 21 He began working for Rescue 911, Miss America Pageant, Americas Most Wanted, and various commercials and industrials. During this time Donny also worked with New Jersey's biggest film and lighting company, The Lighthouse. Here is where many years of working with and understanding the complex tools of lighting helped develop the creative eye to come up with beautiful images. Soon after, Donny Stegall was accepted into the Motion Picture Studio Mechanics Union and worked on several feature films, commercials, music videos and corporate industrials. He also worked on many documentaries including The History Of The New York Subway, which included many challenging transit shots of the New York Subway. At 25 Donny began working with Dan Rather on 48 Hours and became part of a vital lighting team for CBS News. In one famous shot for 48 Hours Dan Rather is actually on the runway at Newark International Airport as a plane takes off. He also was working with shows like the Sopranos and Entertainment News on CNN during this time. Then Donny went back to his roots and went to the place where football and the creative art form of images sets the precedence for excellence in all types of visuals, NFL Films. For years NFL Films has had a reputation for some of the best cinematographers, editors, and sound men in the world. Donny has worked with NFL Films for over seven years now and works extensively with shows like Under The Helmet, Edge NFL Match Up, and Super Bowl.Com. Over the years Donny brings fifteen years of experience, over ten features, dozens of documentaries, dozens of music videos, and hundreds of commercial, corporate and state industrials.
