Andrew Troy is an American film producer, director, screenplay writer, and founder of the Hollywood film production companies Troy Entertainment and The Park Entertainment. Troy's combined creative, technical, and business background has been pivotal on hundreds of projects within feature film, television, music, and commercial production. For over two decades, he has owned and operated seven large-scale film production, post-production, and sound-recording & mixing facilities in Hollywood, West Hollywood, and Santa Monica where he has produced and supervised crucial areas of production utilizing his facilities and staff on many projects recognized for their high artistic merit and global box office success. Troy has financed and produced 28 Independent films while also supervising over 65 films, series, and documentaries for companies including Sony, Columbia Tri-Star, Newline Cinema, 20th Century Fox, Dream Works, Warner Bros., HBO, BBC, Millennium, Nu Image, WE tv, WWE Studios, Turner Broadcasting, Discovery, and the Natural Resources Defense Council.
Troy's career includes: a 3-year business partnership with producer John Linson (Yellowstone, The Comedian, The Outsider) working closely with iconic producer Art Linson (Fight Club, The Untouchables, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Heat, Great Expectations, Into the Wild) during "The Runaways", "Sons of Anarchy", "What Just Happened", and "Outlaw Country"; a 6-year collaboration with blockbuster film producer Shane Salerno (Armageddon, Avatar, Savages) working as a producer and supervisor on the critically acclaimed documentary "Salinger" about reclusive writer J.D. Salinger; "The Devil and Daniel Johnson", winner Sundance best directing award, working with director Jeff Feuerzeig as a supervising producer; The Natural Resources Defense Council's climate documentaries "Acid Test - A Global Challenge" and "Stories from the Gulf - The BP Oil Spill" working as a producer and supervisor, also as a music composer with musicians Kevin Haskins (Bauhaus, Love and Rockets) and Peter Distefano (Porno for Pyros); a 3-year music collaboration with executive producer and writer Ron Weiner (Silicon Valley, Arrested Development, Futurama, 30 Rock); and Martin Scorsese's music documentary series about the Blues titled "Soul of a Man" filmed at Troy's Hollywood based Icon Studios, formerly the original Hanna Barbera studios, working as a production supervisor and music producer with director Wim Wenders.
In 2019, Troy signed to produce the epic historical drama titled "I Am A Man - The True Story of Chief Standing Bear" with longtime Anonymous Content executive Paul Green (The Revenant, Spotlight, The Fifth Estate, Babel, Mr. Robot, Berlin Station, True Detectives).
