Jon Greasley

Greasley is a Los Angeles based, Brit-transplant sound designer, re-recording mixer, and general maker of noise. His more recent credits skew pretty heavily science fiction, science fact, and horror, which is great because he enjoys all of those things. Just as at home mixing sound effects as dialogue and music, he is happiest with a giant session of aliens, spaceships, explosions, and generally weird sounds in front of him.
With sound credentials going back to the 1990s, Greasley has recorded in studios both sides of the Atlantic with his previous band, Apartment 26 (named for a David Lynch reference), most notably Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios, NRG, and what used to be Cello (now East West). Fully devoted to film sound now, Greasley brings a sense of musicality and rhythm to his sound design work, and still plays guitar and drums when schedules allow, occasionally releasing music under the moniker WinstonDeath.
He wrote this himself, if that wasn't already clear.
