Ariel Llinas(I)

Ariel Llinas was born in Barranquilla, Colombia and then raised in New York after the age of three. He is a trained actor with over 20 years of experience, most recently as Mike Connolly in Kevin Costner's "Horizon", General Arturo Vasquez in "NCIS: Los Angeles," Al Jollett in "Fatal Attraction and as Detective Ordaz in "Bosch."
After earning a marketing degree, a surfing vacation in California led to a surprising pivot into a career in entertainment. After he was approached in a gym by casting director Don Philip Smith, Llinas was offered a role on "The Young and the Restless." He then began studying his craft with coaches Howard Fine and Brian Reise. He also trained with The Actor's Circle.
His Colombian roots and bilingual ability opened another door, this time for national commercial. Llinas then appeared in numerous television shows and films, including "Shameless," "LA's Finest," "Strange Angel," "Animal Kingdom," "Dexter," "State of Affairs" and "Hacienda Heights."
Ariel also integrated his acting career with his marketing background, creating the bilingual spokesperson Don Remate, and in turn launched a novel, highly-successful automotive marketing and promotion company. He continues to operate his marketing firm today while growing his screen presence as an actor. Currently, he resides in Los Angeles with his wife, children and two dogs.
