Mike Krause(IV)
- Editorial Department
Mike Krause fell into Post Production after a stint in music as an artist and producer and found his niche almost by accident. Before joining the Walt Disney Studios, he worked as a post-production and digital work flow consultant as well as spending some valuable time at both Technicolor and Deluxe and many smaller production companies in varying post-production roles. Krause has contributed several technical 'how-to' articles to Edit Well magazine and even writes fiction in his spare time.
In his current position, he defines and enforces Mastering workflows and specifications for the studio library and works directly with numerous vendors to maintain a high standard of quality work. Krause also enjoys considerable amounts of experimentation with new software, systems, techniques and work flow. He lives a short walk from his office with his wife, daughter and German Shepherd and is an active supporter of German Shepherd Rescue.
