Joseph Durbin was born and raised in Winchester, Virginia. At a young age, he began entertaining in puppetry and theater. He started out his career as master puppeteer for the network WAZT, starring in "Puppet Treasures" from 2000-2004. In 2005, Joseph was cast as the lead by two award-winning directors in Gary Ugarek's "Deadlands 2: Trapped" and Dale Jackson's "Maxwell Stein." Since then, he has built up his resume with 40+ films and started taking an interest in behind the scenes. In 2011, Joseph made his directorial debut in the short film, "Your Last Six Inches," followed by "Charity," "Fat Kid Massacre", "A Little Off The Top" and soon to be released "Hemlock." In 2012, Joseph decided to combine his multiple talents, experience and passion for films by creating Vintage Film Productions, LLC.
In 2017, after directing many projects from other writers, he decided to venture into screenwriting himself and received a B.A. in Screenwriting from SNHU. In 2019, Joseph co-created, wrote, and executive produced the YouTube show "The Jurassic Joe Dino Show," in which he also starred as the host and explorer.
