Mike Wech

Mike Wech grew up in Buffalo, NY, the son of the Michael J Wech, teacher and coach and Mary Jane Wech. While in college Mike was bit by the acting and theater bug and moved to New York to pursue his dreams.

But his passion for the creative arts prompted Mike to branch his creative skills across multiple areas of production. Mike believed learning every job would make him more effective as a leader. Experiencing television and film production from multiple angles gave Mike a unique skill set allowing him to streamline productions for maximum efficiency and budget.

With over 200 hours of network programming along with a growing list of feature films and corporate work, Mike has been highly sought after to lead the creative and technical aspects of production. As the showrunner for the tv series Drug Wars and Being Beautiful, Mike was able to write, produce, direct and edit the series.

With a constant eye toward the future Mike has been innovative in post-production, creating new workflows and incorporating new technologies into his projects.

Mike's goal is to create cross-platform, four-quadrant, multi-media franchise properties that use cutting-edge technology to tell and market the story. The realization of this goal is being incorporated into Mike's international, best-selling novel SEVEN-X, which is designed to be the one of the most-immersive film experiences ever, maximizing the potential of stereoscopic 3D filmmaking. With accompanying apps, live-experiences and interactive story-telling, the SEVEN-X franchise is set-up to deliver something innovative and unique to audiences across the globe.
