He was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the 7th round of the 1998 Major League Baseball Draft. He was rule V drafted by the Minnesota Twins in 2002 where he finished his career in 2005. He endured four arm surgeries that prevented him from making the major leagues.
He attended the famed Archbishop Moeller High School in Cincinnati, Ohio where Ken Griffey Jr, Barry Larkin, and other greats also attended.
