At one point in time, Bumblebee was just another Transformer among hundreds in the extended cast of the Transformers universe. Sure he got some starring bits in the original G1 continuity, but it was really the 2007 Transformers movie that propelled Bumblebee to co-headlining status alongside Autobot leader Optimus Prime.
That trend isn’t stopping with the newest Transformers series rolling into Paramount+, which you can watch an exclusive trailer for right here.
While the last few trailers for Transformers: EarthSpark have focused on the new bots, this one gives all the shine to Bumblebee. Unlike other previous incarnations of the character, this Bumblebee is giving major “somewhat clueless teacher” vibes.
Right at the start of the trailer he begins what appears to be a lesson by showing off his arm laser and accidentally shoots down a nearby tree. Bumblebee doesn’t notice though because, while he may be a bit clueless,...

Everyone knows Transformers are alien robots — or are they? Animated series Transformers: Earthspark introduces siblings Twitch (voiced by Kathreen Khavari) and Thrash (Zeno Robinson), the first Transformers born on Earth, aka Terrans. “They’re new to everything around them, including the legacy bots who are part of the story,” says co-executive producer Dale Malinowski. In a time when robots and humans coexist peacefully, years after the long-running Transformers war between Autobots and Decepticons, Twitch and Thrash live with the Malto family and are mentored by franchise fave Bumblebee (Danny Pudi). But when villainous Mandroid (Diedrich Bader) decides to rid the world of robots, the heroes rise to the challenge with Optimus Prime (Alan Tudyk), Megatron (Rory McCann) and others back in the mix. “Going into this adventure with the Terrans — they’re not either faction,” says co-executive producer Ant Ward. “It’s been fun to have a blank slate to really define this new generation.

Transformers: EarthSpark, the newest addition to the long-running Transformers franchise, is getting closer every day! With any new iteration from a franchise comes excitement and suspense at what new things will be brought to the table – new characters, new spins on classic designs, and more.
Transformers: EarthSpark is giving us all that and much more in this new exclusive trailer for the Paramount+ series. Watch it below!
Previous trailers had given us some good looks at Terran Transformers bots Thrash and Twitch in their regular Autobot forms but this trailer finally provides a longer look at their alt mode vehicle forms. Twitch is some kind of drone like flying vehicle, with a design somewhat reminiscent of the fan favorite Autobot character Windblade. Thrash resembles a more conventional Earth vehicle, a motorcycle with a sidecar for the human characters to ride in. They’re great new designs and the differences between the two,...

Any franchise with multiple incarnations will feature dozens of different kinds of characters. Transformers is no different, with factions of different bots that are far beyond simply being Autobots or Decepticons. The amount of different kinds of bots are almost too numerous to count (unless you have a very big toy collection) so the reveal that Transformers: EarthSpark is set to have a new kind of Transformer is a welcome one.
The newest Transformers are the Earthborn Terran bots, Twitch and Thrash, who prominently feature in this exclusive trailer for Transformers: EarthSpark. Watch it below!
“For the first time ever, Transformer bots have been born on Earth.”
While hardcore fans may rush to find examples of Transformers coming to life on Earth in past series, EarthSpark looks to be doing something completely different with the characters of Twitch and Thrash. The trailer makes it clear that they’re born on...

The next generation of Transformers is almost here. Following a huge reveal at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, the beloved ‘80s franchise is set to put a whole new spin on what fans expect from the Autobots, Decepticons, and more. We’ve got an exclusive look at a brand new trailer for the animated series Transformers: EarthSpark, which gives us some revealing looks at what’s to come, both for the story and the Transformers themselves. Watch it below!
While we’d been briefly introduced to the Earthborn Terran Transformers, Twitch and Thrash, this trailer gives us a better understanding of what we can expect from them in Transformers: EarthSpark. Not only will they be defending Earth but more importantly they’ll be living with the Malto family. Guided by Bumblebee, it looks like the human characters will also have an important role to play in the developing personalities of these unique Transformers.

Though their popularity peaked long before most of today’s actual teenagers were born, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles never really went away. We’re only six years removed from the most recent live-action film based on the pizza-loving reptiles, and it was just two months ago that a new Tmnt video game was released. Ant Ward and Andy Suriano’s “Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie,” which arrives on Netflix this week, is based on the animated series that aired on Nickelodeon from 2018 to 2020. While unlikely to bring any nostalgia-minded fans of the series’ early-’90s heyday back into the fold, “Rise” is a serviceable — if also forgettable — entry in the cowabunga canon.
It would be difficult to overstate how obsessed with ninjas and martial arts children were in the ’90s, with the franchise riding the same wave as “Mortal Kombat,” “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” and the “3 Ninjas” movies.

Nickelodeon recently released the opening sequence for their upcoming new cartoon series Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The opening sequence also includes a wild new riff on the classic 90s Tmnt cartoon opening theme song.
The first trailer for this film completely turned me off. It's hard for me to get past these character designs. But some people seem to dig what this series is going to deliver. Some people are saying that the animation work is innovative, but I'll let you decide what that means to you.
In the end, the series is for kids and this looks like the kind of stuff that they're already used to. It looks like it will certainly stimulate their brains! Also, in case you didn't know, Raphael is the new leader of the Ninja Turtles in this series.

Co-executive producers Andy Suriano and Ant Ward were in Annecy for their first time this year to give an in-depth, behind the scenes look at their forthcoming series, “Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.”
Held at the Salle Pierre Lamy, the two showed artwork, explained the development process which led to the series, and even screened a two-minute clip from the show, which will be launched by Nickelodeon this fall.
All of the work on the series is being handled by Nickelodeon in Los Angeles, apart from animation which is being done at Australia’s Flying Bark. “They are killing it!” said Ward.
As one might except from the title, Nickelodeon’s “Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” won’t be picking up where previous iterations of the IP have dropped off, but rather a fresh retelling of the stories behind Raphael, Michelangelo, Donatello and Leonardo, with other Tmnt staples to feature.

Cowabunga, dude. “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” is about to get a reboot at Nickelodeon, where the network is ready to introduce the characters to a new generation of viewers, one of several venerable properties the network is reviving. And the net knows this generation of kids will want new things from these series.
“In order to reach [our audience] we’re going to have to use our entire ecosystem,” says Cyma Zarghami, president of Nickelodeon Group. “And our ecosystem includes some social, some digital, a relationship with our retail and toy partners, so we have the ability to mobilize the scope of our business to help make something successful. It’s a different vision of prioritization now that we have so many more tools now.”
The re-imagined turtles will appear in “Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” a 2D-animated series co-executive produced by Andy Suriano, who previously did character design for “Samurai Jack,...

Nickelodeon has released the first trailer for their new animated series Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and I personally think it looks awful. I already wasn't a fan of the character designs when they were first revealed, but it looks even worse watching them in action. I'm not a big fan of this rise in animation that looks cheap that we're seeing these days. I know the series was made for kids, I just think it's a shame that this is the kind of stuff that they have to grow up with. I've seen some people say it's innovative animation work, but that's obviously not what I'm seeing!
Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles follows the band of brothers - Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo - as they discover new powers and encounter a mystical world they never knew existed beneath the streets of New York City.

Nickelodeon has unveiled character art for their upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon reboot...
Rise Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be hitting the channel later this year. Ahead of that, a Facebook Live broadcast featuring executive producers Andy Suriano and Ant Ward alongside long time Ninja Turtles voice actor and Rise voice director Rob Paulson was used to reveal what some of the key characters of the show will look like. The broadcast was hosted by Eric Bauza, who will voice Splinter in the new show, and also featured Tmnt co-creator Kevin Eastman drawing a Turtle sketch live.
The new art style seeks to distinguish the pizza-scoffing reptilian ninjas from one another, with each a different species of turtle. Raphael (voiced by Omar Miller), who will lead the Turtles in Rise, is a snapping turtle, Leonardo (Ben Schwartz) is a red eared slider (hence the...

A new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon is on its way to Nickelodeon, called Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and they recently announced the cast that will make up the team of ninja turtles.
Ben Schwartz has been cast as Leonardo. I greatly disliked Schwartz’s character Jean-Ralphio on Parks and Recreation, but that’s because he did such a great job, and while I normally wouldn’t like the idea of him being Leo, but it sounds like some changes are being made to the show to make it fresh. Leo is no longer the leader, but rather the cooler, rebellious brother while Raphael (voiced by Omar Miller) takes charge as leader. Donatello (voiced by Silicon Valley's Josh Brener) and still seems to be a techno-geek and Brandon Mychal Smith’s Michelangelo sounds like he’ll be the lovable Mikey we know.
