Bertrand Roberson Jr.
- Actor
Born in Los Angeles to a military family, Bertrand moved around a lot
before landing back in California (early 2001).
Bertrand grew up a creative child. He began modeling and performing in pageants until the age of 7; earning various awards and being awarded prize money and scholarships. He received his first taste of acting at age 11, when he enrolled into Fort Braggs Center of the Arts acting course (Ft. Bragg, North Carolina), where he picked up on many techniques. But, due to his "step-father" being in the Army, he had to relocate several times, focusing on school and other extracurricular activities.
He joined JROTC (where he learned and trained with weaponry, earning high honor marksmanship ribbons and holding the rank of SGT. 1st Class and the title of Platoon Leader). He was involved in multiple sports (Including Football, Basketball, Baseball, and Track), studied martial arts, was the Class Vice President of AVID, held on to his creative mind by taking art courses and discovering his passion for Fine Arts, was a dedicated member of Black Student Union (BSU), volunteered (and continues to volunteer year-round) at a local YMCA, and is a devoted Step Master for a growing Fraternity (Kappa Sigma Phi), all while maintaining his passion for acting. He was also heavily dedicated to the Video Production course at his high school, drawing him to the Advanced Drama course (where he acted in multiple plays; including the Shakespearean play "A MidSummer Night's Dream").
