Born in Wigan, Greater Manchester, John Last trained at The University of Salford and obtained a B.A in Media Performance in 2002.
He has been critically acclaimed in various Off West End theatre productions culminating in working with award winning play and screenwriter, Anna Jordan (Succession, HBO). 'Chicken Shop' at London's Park Theatre went on to win awards as John's brutal portrayal of Hungarian Sex Trafficker, Leko, left reviewers and audience members alike 'physically shaken'.
John has since reopened the Bush Theatre as part of 'Black Lives, Black Words'. His portrayal as the American Deep South, Officer Encinia, ensured that the memory of Sandra Bland would live on in the audience.
Away from the theatre world, John is a voiceover for many TV Channels. Ranging from ITV2, Channel 5, Discovery, Tru TV and Virgin 1.
He is married to Theatre Director, Jemma Gross and they have one child together.
