A Chicago native, Michael Schmid spent his childhood in Indiana, where he attended Indiana University in Bloomington and received his BA in Theatre & Drama. Post graduation, he spent three years in the thriving indie film market of Austin, TX and shortly after returned to Chicago to continue working in Film and Theatre. Co-Founder of 4Lizard Productions, his company has produced several short and feature films in the Chicagoland area from 2002 to 2017 with hopes of more to come. Michael moved to Louisville, KY in 2018, and returned to the stage in 2022.
