Jerry provides independent business consulting services to non-profit
and commercial entities while managing the operations of DollarCamp.
Jerry is a co-founder of DollarCamp, which develops, publishes and
distributes personal finance course books that technical and trade
schools integrate into their existing curriculum.
Prior to DollarCamp, Jerry served as Acquisitions Manger at The Bascom Group, LLC in Dallas, Texas, an owner / operator of multifamily real estate. Jerry was a part of a three-person acquisition team that acquired 10,000 multifamily units in Dallas, Houston and San Antonio in 36 months. Jerry sourced deals, managed due diligence, created debt and equity packages for capital partners, negotiated PSA and debt and equity agreements, and managed closings.
Jerry co-founded Advanced Media Studios, Inc., which provided design services, database driven websites, and high definition production / post-production services to professional firms and production companies. AMS's clients included Sony Pictures and Concorde New Horizons.
Jerry provided freelance business consulting and business plan development services to entertainment companies from 2001-2005. During this time Jerry was engaged by Relativity Media to author multiple business plans for clients. Engagements included writing the business plan for Marvel Studios' use in transitioning from a rights licensing to in-house production entity. Relativity Media and Marvel Studios raised $525 million from Merrill Lynch Finance Corporation to launch Marvel's film production business.
Prior to providing independent consulting services, Jerry served as Director of Business Development at KCUS Venture Group. Jerry managed facets of due diligence, business plan development, financial modeling, and JV development for consulting clients and investee companies.
Jerry graduated from the University of Southern California after graduating from Harvard-Westlake School.
