Maxon Davis

Maxon Davis grew up in Montana, where he spent his free time exploring the mountains, rivers, and wilderness areas around the state. An accomplished athlete, he attended Olympic trials for hockey and the Buffalo Sabres' training camp. He earned a National Merit Scholarship to attend UC Berkeley.
After college, he worked on the US Senate staff of Max Baucus (D-MT), clerked in a law firm, and studied sports medicine before pursuing theater full time.
Theater successes in the Bay Area brought Maxon to the downtown theater scene in New York, where he worked primarily on new plays and Shakespeare, while continuing to work at major regional theaters. When a faculty member saw his work, he was invited to attend the MFA program at The Shakespeare Theater in DC.
Shortly after returning to NYC, he became the Assoc. Artistic Director of The Shakespeare Forum, where he expanded programming and built several productions. He has over 25 NYC theater credits and 20 regional theater credits.
Maxon's teaching credits include work with The Public Theater, The Shakespeare Forum, Columbia University (MFA), Classic Stage Company, AADA, and workshops with 35+ schools.
Film work brought him to Los Angeles, where he currently resides.
